We’re passionate about levelling the playing field and believe access to the law should be a basic utility in society.Our AI lawyer Lawrence is built on top of our own fine tuned LLM and recently passed the Solicitors Qualifying Exams (SQE).We have backing from leading US and UK VC funds including Google Ventures and Episode 1, and from founders and executives who’ve built some of the biggest startups like Bloom & Wild, Primer, SignalAI, Spotify, Meta, Curve, Monzo, Tide.The RoleWe are hiring for a Content Marketing Manager to join our growing team! You will research, plan, and write content, ensuring it meets SEO and brand guidelines. You will also be responsible for editing and approving others’ work. A key aspect of this role is to fuel further growth in SEO, one of our biggest growth levers for traffic and revenue. Contribute to defining our brand and marketing strategy, manage social channels, and help build the foundations of our marketing efforts. Candidates should have experience in high-growth startups, PR, PPC, SMM, CRO, A/B testing, and video content creation.What the role involves

  • Using content (creation and management) to fuel the growth of SEO traffic and revenue, and improve the transactional performance of the SEO traffic.
  • Researching and planning content by creating a topical map and using tools such as SEMRush, Google KWP, etc., to optimise for SEO.
  • Writing and editing content to ensure it meets SEO guidelines and contributes to higher search rankings.
  • Editing and approving content written by others, ensuring it conforms to tone of voice and SEO guidelines.
  • Writing content that is consumer friendly and furthers our mission of making the law more accessible.
  • Helping to build the foundations of marketing at Lawhive. As an early member of our team, you’ll be instrumental in helping define our brand, voice and content marketing strategy.
  • Helping develop the processes required for rapid and consistent production of high quality content.
  • Transforming the way people access their legal rights and making legal help accessible to everyone!

Requirements

  • You’ve worked in B2C environments.
  • You have significant experience in SEO content creation and demonstrate that you can create content that performs well in SERPS.
  • You have great experience cultivating a consumer friendly brand & voice.
  • You’ve demonstrated that you can create content that explains complex topics in a straightforward, understandable and approachable way.
  • You understand the principles of E-E-A-T (Expertise, Experience, Authoritativeness, and Trustworthiness) and ensure all content adheres to these guidelines.
  • You’re a natural born writer and love writing in a consumer friendly and approachable way.
  • You’re a structured thinker who understands the importance of planning and organisation when researching, editing and creating content.
  • You’re highly organised and can demonstrate your attention to detail.
  • You’re a generalist, able to work in the detail and see the big picture.
  • You’re opinionated AF and want to help us change the legal system for the better.
  • You’re highly motivated and ambitious. Capable of learning and adapting in a fast changing startup.

Desirable

  • You’ve been an early hire at a high growth startup before.
  • You have experience with PR & Outreach.
  • You have experience with PPC, SMM and CRO.
  • You’re comfortable with A/B testing and have run & managed experiments yourself in previous roles.
  • You have experience with (short or long form) video content creation.
