Now, we’re looking for a passionate and driven individual to join our team and help us make an even bigger impact.Role OverviewWe have an exciting opportunity for a Contract Administrator – Fire to join our Property team. In this role, you will provide essential administrative support to our Fire Contract Management team, ensuring all key performance indicators (KPI’s) and regulatory requirements are met or exceeded.Key Responsibilities
- Distributing and monitoring all action plan items arising from our Fire Risk Assessment programme
- Assisting the Fire Safety Team in achieving department KPIs and SLAs
- Responding to resident and internal department queries via telephone, email, or in writing
- Raising Works Orders as instructed
- Coordinating access for Contractors, Consultants, and Surveyors, liaising with other departments and residents where necessary
- Collaborating with Contractors, Consultants, and internal teams to ensure all fire-related compliance inspections and reports are completed and updated in line with company policies and procedures
- Assisting with compliance documentation and statistical reporting as required
- Working with and gaining competency in fire safety-related software
- Helping to maintain Consultancy and Contractor ‘Framework Agreements’
- Providing general administrative support to the Fire Team and occasional backup support to the M&E Department
- Organising and attending meetings, taking minutes, and preparing action points, including occasional offsite meetings outside normal working hours
- Attending training sessions as instructed
- Assisting in the administration and analysis of tenant and contractor feedback, including conducting resident satisfaction surveys and reporting results to improve service delivery
More About YouWe’re looking for someone who can bring the following:
- Educated to GCSE level (or equivalent) in Maths and English, grades A*-C
- Highly organised and detail-oriented, with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- A confident communicator, both written and verbal, with excellent customer service skills
- Experienced in administrative support, ideally within housing or compliance-related roles
- Strong IT skills. You have intermediate knowledge with using Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
- Confident and adaptable with systems. While training will be provided, we’re looking for someone who can pick up systems quickly, mainly in fire safety-related software
- Able to work independently while also being an effective team player who can collaborate with internal departments and external stakeholders
- Knowledgeable about the housing sector (desirable but not essential) and willing to learn more about fire safety regulations to support compliance
