Adecco is currently hiring a full-time highly skilled and detail-oriented Contract Business Analyst specializing in Record to Report (RTR) processes to work for our client, a leader in the oil and gas industry in Calgary, AB. The successful candidate will be responsible for analyzing, designing, and implementing financial processes and systems to ensure accurate financial reporting and compliance. This role requires a strong understanding of accounting principles, financial systems, and business process optimization.If you are an individual who enjoys working as an individual and in a team environment, and who demonstrates effective critical thinking, problem-solving and facilitation skills, is adaptable and able effectively complete deliverables in a timely fashion, we are looking for you!Location: Calgary, ABShift: 8:00am – 5:00pmJob type: Long Term | Full-timeHere’s why you should apply:Paid weekly accurate and on timeStrong health and safety programsMedical and dental benefits once qualifiedFree training programsNew and quicker onboarding processResponsibilities:Assist in facilitating working sessions and documenting results for the mapping of source fields to target fields between ERP and Connected Applications.Perform initial Data QA / completeness checks on finalized functional design specifications.Steward completed documents through the approval/sign-off process, including providing background and facilitating clarifying discussions (as required) for reviewers and approvers.Clarify questions on the functional design specifications for developers.Participate in data standards and process creation, reviews, updates, development and documentation.Be the liaison between the project teams, technology teams and sustainment teams.Manage and execute on required stakeholder and client engagement across project deliverables to support project plan and scope outline.Collaborate with project team members to progress the project forward as per project plan and scope outline.Elicit requirements using interviews, document analysis, requirements workshops, business process descriptions, use cases, scenarios, business analysis, task and workflow analysis.Critically evaluate information gathered from multiple sources, reconcile conflicts, decompose high-level information into details, abstract up from low-level information to a general understanding, and distinguish user requests from the underlying true need.Proactively communicate and collaborate with external vendors and internal stakeholders to analyze information needs and functional requirements to deliver the following artifacts as needed: functional requirements (business requirements document), use cases, workflow diagrams, and context diagrams.Qualifications:Must be legally eligible to work, and reside in CanadaAt least 10 years of professional experience as a Business Analyst or in a similar capacity.Direct working experience or project experience in business areas or functions.Oil &Gas/Energy industry experience would be considered an asset.Organization and relationship building skills.Highly effective communicator.Displays emotional intelligence; demonstrates self-awareness and remains calm under pressure.Are you interested in this position?
