About Our ClientOur client, located in Mississauga, is hiring a Controller for a permanent positionResponsibilities:

• Consolidation of financial statements for presentation to the head office
• Preparation of end-of-period and end-of-quarter reports, period summary results, and detailed results for a complete quarter
• Preparation of periodic financial statements
• Weekly and monthly bank reconciliations
• Regular communication with the Canada Revenue Agency and Revenue Québec regarding the GST/QST declaration, as well as with various internal accounting teams
• Preparation of transfers on the banking platform
• Participation in audits
• Management of the staff

Qualifications and Skills:

• CPA Designated
• 5+ years in similar positions working in a large organization to support business division experience is an asset
• Experience in the manufacturing, distribution, or supply chain sector
• Knowledge of financial reporting/financial statements and business partnership with the operation
• Strong Excel and the ability to improve antiquated processes
• Leadership or supervisory experience is a must
• ERP experience and hands-on

Expected salary

$130000 per year
