Controls Engineer – Cincinnati, OH – Remote/TravelWe are seeking a motivated and experienced Controls Engineer to join our dynamic team supporting the design and startup of PLC controlled systems for material handling equipment. This position will require 65-75% travel with a schedule of traveling to the job site for up to 10 days, followed by 4 days off working remotely. Candidates are paid for travel time and are eligible for a $65.00/day per diem. All travel expenses will be covered.Job Responsibilities:

• Analyze project requirements and perform basic controls troubleshooting to support equipment development with internal engineering, project management, and customers.
• Designing various PLC systems for a variety of customers.
• Support electrical installation by interfacing with electrical installers.
• Debug electrical installation of controls and motor components of limited complexity.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering or Electrical Engineering Technology.
• 1-3 years of experience in controls engineering – Programming PLCs, Studio 5000, Rockwell.
• Proficiency in PLC Programming, Allen-Bradley, Material Handling Equipment, Conveyors, Automation, Studio 5000, Rockwell RSLogix.
• Ability to travel 65-75% of the time.
