A long standing manufacturer of mozzarella and lactose is looking for a Controls Technician to join their close-knit team. In this role you will be responsible for assisting the controls supervisor in the selection, programming, documentation, and knowledge of all plant industrial controls.

Controls Technician Responsibilities:

Troubleshoot and repair control issues (troubleshoot VFDs and motors)

Perform PLC program change requests and modify existing PLC programs as needed

Perform preventative maintenance to optimize equipment reliability

Follow up on control work completed by maintenance technicians and assist in troubleshooting of control instrumentation equipment problems

Train end-users and maintenance personnel on new controls designs
Schedule:
-
Night Shift: 4:30pm-5:00am
-
2,2,3 schedule
-
36-hour week / 48-hour week – have weekends off for half the year!
Controls Technician Requirements:

3+ years of experience troubleshooting PLCs, motors, drives and process controls in a manufacturing environment

Strong mechanical aptitude

Experience with Allen Bradley preferred

Experience with instrumentation devices

Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team
Compensation: $35-$42/hour (+$1.25 night shift differential)
