That’s why SickKids Foundation is looking for a new Coordinator, Philanthropy.Position Status: Placement Full-timeAvailable: ImmediatelyThe Coordinator, Philanthropy is responsible for providing administrative support to the members of the Philanthropy team. The primary responsibilities include inputting, extracting, and reviewing data from a relationship database (referred to as KYDs – Blackbaud CRM), providing input on processes and strategies, supporting the teams’ fundraising initiatives, and managing a variety of administrative tasks such as writing letters, working with all Microsoft office programs, answering phones and emails and creating queries simultaneously.You will:

  • Maintain KYDs database for Major Gift donors to ensure data integrity including the entering of data and creation of profiles, and producing standardized reports and database extractions.
  • Support fundraising initiatives by tracking activity of fundraisers and volunteers, managing next steps to ensure adherence to project plans and preparing regular activity reports.
  • Schedule donor meetings, follow up calls to donors, and data entry of all donor meetings and correspondence.
  • Manage the creation, briefing and distribution of meeting agendas and materials, arrange meeting facilities and catering; may take, transcribe, and compose minutes.
  • Provide administrative support (including but not limited to coding expense forms, donations, etc.) and work collaboratively cross-organizationally.
  • Assist with meeting and travel arrangements for donor meetings.
  • Contribute to fundraising goals by assisting senior management in achieving their objectives.
  • Maintain a high level of contact with internal and external stakeholders, including the management of confidential and sensitive information.
  • Actively participate in Internal meetings, serving as minute taker when needed.
  • Attend and support SickKids and Philanthropy events as required.
  • Work towards advancing your professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; and establishing your personal networks.
  • Provide backup support to the Coordinators, Gift & Estate Planning and Philanthropy and other administrative staff.
  • Additional office duties and projects as required.
