You’ll work on exciting initiatives that tackle real-world challenges, from reducing our carbon footprint to promoting diversity and inclusion. Whether it’s organising employee volunteering events, collaborating with non-profits, or developing campaigns to raise awareness, you’ll have the opportunity to make a tangible impact.Your day-to-day responsibilities will be dynamic and varied, spanning multiple projects, stakeholders, and focus areas. One day, you might be analysing data to measure our sustainability performance; the next, you could be engaging with local communities or attending industry events to stay ahead of the curve.A day in the life can involve:

  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to develop and implement Corporate Responsibility & Sustainability initiatives
  • Engaging with local communities and non-profit organisations to understand their needs and perspectives
  • Analysing data and metrics to measure the impact of our sustainability efforts
  • Attending industry events and conferences to stay up-to-date with the latest trends and best practices
  • Contributing to internal and external communications, such as sustainability reports and social media campaigns
  • Participating in employee volunteering and fundraising activities
  • Supporting the development and execution of Corporate Responsibility & Sustainability strategy and policies

As a working student your focus is to complete your studies in your 20% off the job time by learning and developing your skills, knowledge and behaviours to work towards successful graduation. You will be set objectives and goals by your training provider and manager to support your studies.You will build your skills over a 36-month period, starting in July. These skills will help you develop personally and professionally. Your apprenticeship will be made up of classroom/virtual based training to cover knowledge, on-the-job training at your Amazon base location, online learning as well as mentoring from our experienced team members.You’ll join a diverse and passionate team of changemakers who are committed to driving positive change. – Be 18 years or over before the start date
– Have the right to live and work in United Kingdom (if you are on a visa, this needs to enable you to legally work and reside in United Kingdom for the entire duration of the programme).
– Have lived in the UK or in the European Economic Area (EEA) for the last 3 years
– Be a resident of the UK for the entire duration of the programme
– Not be registered to study on a UK government funded course ending June 2025 or laterTo meet our Standard Entry Requirements you must:
– Have 5 GCSE’s grade 4 or above (A-C) or equivalent including English and MathsPLEASE NOTE: This position is a 36 month fixed-term contract.You must NOT already have a qualification in a similar subject at the same or higher level than this apprenticeshipPlease note, you will be required to evidence your qualifications. If you have gained qualifications outside of the UK you will be required to evidence that they are equivalent. Note: This Apprenticeship assumes the candidate has some or little knowledge/experience of the occupation, and is NOT suitable for candidates who already have a similar or higher-level qualification in the same or similar subject of the apprenticeship. As part of the assessment centre, you may be expected to take part in a group exercise, a presentation, 1 to 1 interviews and other tasks relating to your chosen programme.
