We are seeking an experienced Costs Advocate to join our specialist team in Manchester.Working within a successful team, we are looking for those who can advise on complex legal technical issues and cost disputes to Fee Earners. Experience within drafting legal documents specific to cost litigation (including skeleton arguments, points of dispute and reply, witness statements, applications and draft orders) would be required.Other duties would include undertaking budget negotiations, attending details assessment hearings, oral hearings along with CCMC’s and cost applications and as such, a high degree of technical expertise in cost litigation would be paramount.What we offer in return:We have a wide range of core and voluntary benefits:
