Job Title: Cover SupervisorLocation: Weston-super-Mare (just off M5)Start Date: Immediate StartSalary: £110 – £160 per dayCan you inspire young minds with an engaging teaching style?Do you have strong classroom management?Are you interested in working with students aged between 11 – 16?I am hiring for a secondary school in Weston-super-Mare who are looking for Cover Supervisor staff that can support on a casual basis covering teachers who are away. This school are particularly keen to find staff that have a strong grasp on behaviour management and can follow school policies to keep the learning as consistent as possible for the students. For staff that are new to the role, there is training available. Staff with a particular subject specialism are preferred where possible.TeacherActive are proud to be working with a large number of Secondary Schools across Somerset. We are actively recruiting for Cover Supervisors to support our school network with quality and consistent staff.Our Cover Supervisors play a vital role in schools, whether on a day to day, long-term or permanent basis. The role of a Cover Supervisor doesn’t include planning and preparation, however strong communication and classroom management skills are a must.The successful Cover Supervisor will have:

• Experience working in schools or with children in similar roles
• Be confident in their ability to manage a class of students within the age range 11 to 16
• Be able to manage behaviour in the classroom to ensure students remain engaged
• Be flexible to work throughout the school within different departments and with different age ranges daily
