We expect you to be same.About the role.As a Credit Risk Trading Manager you will be the Principle Credit Risk specialist who will be dedicated to supporting Retail in the development of Credit policy that support trading and FS Income.Key Responsibilities:
- Build strong working partnerships across the business.
- Identifies and recommends solutions for customers by defining and implementing credit strategy changes that genuinely meets their demands and needs.
- Leads the process though which FS journey test/changes are developed, including the modelling of proposed activity to understand expected impact of each initiative.
- Supports the provision of a relevant target marketing activity at optimum rates of return for the business.
About youWhat are we looking for from you…
- A Credit Risk background, but keen to move into a broader commercial/ partnership role.
- Good communication and presentation skills with the ability to articulate Risk modelling and analysis to colleagues.
- Commercial awareness and understanding of The Very Group and how it makes money.
- Hands-on experience in automation of SAS, SQL, Python.
- Comfortable with decision-making and working with colleagues from across the business.
- A proactive problem-solver and eager to get involved with projects.
