DESCRIPTION OF POSITION:As leader of the shift team, the Crew Leader sets the example of team leadership within the McCormick High Performance System (MHPS) environment. The Crew Leader ensures overall performance of team of 3-4 lines which includes but is not limited to safety, quality, process reliability, sanitation, GMP’s, and material yield. This position pro-actively encourages continuous improvement and daily problem solving initiatives to increase operational effectiveness and efficiencies.The incumbent must be able to effectively coach, train, and verify 100% compliance to plant established procedures (including safety, work rules, and sanitation guidelines) while demonstrating a deep respect for the capabilities of all people, while following the McCormick Shared Values. Must be able to structure their approach based on the core belief that the success of the company depends upon the capabilities and contributions of all people in the organization.
