What you’ll do – The opportunityPosition:Customer Service RepresentativeLocation: Delta, British ColumbiaLevel:Individual ContributorHiring Range:44300to 55400Description:Reporting directly to the Customer Service Manager, the Customer Service Representative will provide customer service to direct delivery customers, taking orders and releasing for shipment, maintaining customer data, and work with the warehouse and sales staff to resolve related issues.Responsibilities

  • Handle incoming and outgoing calls with direct delivery customers to arrange orders in accordance with multiple delivery schedules and deadlines; advise customers of promotional opportunities or new products as appropriate
  • Investigate and follow through to resolve related service issues, working with warehouse, sales, and delivery staff and supervisor as necessary
  • Enter orders for direct delivery into Oracle, then release to warehouse management system for shipping
  • Maintain up-to-date customer information and daily call sheets and update as necessary
  • Will serve as the main point of contact for online order support and customer sign-ups
  • Support Ontario Supply group as required
  • Exchange information with Warehouse staff and Sales Representatives regarding orders and customer issues
  • Support adherence to quality and food safety standards as required
  • Perform other related duties, as required

Requirements

  • Minimum secondary school diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum 2 years customer service experience, including 1 year call center experience
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Ability to build effective working relationships, both internal and external to the organization
  • Computer skills with ability to use Microsoft Office applications
  • Ability to support and project values compatible with the organization
