Customer Service Representative in Fayetteville, Arkansas

Description We are offering a contract to hire employment opportunity for a Customer Service Representative in our Fayetteville, Arkansas location. The role primarily involves handling customer inquiries in a multi-channel support environment and maintaining accurate customer records. The industry focus is on providing digital tax compliance software, and the workplace is an onsite call center environment.

Responsibilities:

• Serve as the primary contact for customers, providing dedicated and motivated customer service.

• Handle and document customer inquiries via phone, email, or chat.

• Maintain a daily log to assess productivity and identify strengths and weaknesses.

• Take part in special projects such as site testing and client support initiatives.

• Conduct outbound calls to clients for complex issues that require multiple interactions for resolution.

• Adapt to changes in processes and policies as determined by leadership.

• Maintain professional environment and refrain from personal distractions while working.

• Exhibit strong multitasking and prioritization capabilities.

• Demonstrate the ability to work independently while contributing to team goals.

• Display strong verbal and written communication skills and computer literacy, including proficiency in internet applications and Microsoft Excel. Requirements • Role requires proficiency in answering inbound calls

• Experience in a call center or customer service environment is desired

• Strong customer service skills are essential

• Ability to handle and resolve customer complaints and issues

• Ability to communicate effectively and professionally with customers

• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think on your feet

• Must have excellent telephone etiquette

• Ability to multitask and manage time effectively

• Basic computer skills and familiarity with CRM systems and practices

• Willingness to work in shifts or flexible hours if required

• High school diploma or equivalent; higher degree in a related discipline will be appreciated

• Training in customer service or a relevant field is a plus

• Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment

• Knowledge of customer service principles and practices is beneficial

• Ability to work well in a team and contribute to team goals.
