Description We are offering a contract to hire employment opportunity for a Customer Service Representative in Greenville, South Carolina. Our industry focus is Water and we are keen on enhancing our customer service team. The role primarily revolves around handling customer interactions, maintaining accurate customer records, and processing payments.

Responsibilities:

• Engage in customer interactions through various platforms such as telephone, email, or internet, ensuring prompt and professional responses.

• Develop rapport with both internal and external customers, demonstrating a sense of accountability for each account.

• Investigate and resolve customer complaints, determining the validity and corrective actions needed, and escalate complex issues as necessary.

• Ensure follow-ups are done within the committed timeframe to maintain customer satisfaction.

• Undertake routine cashiering tasks, including setting up and balancing cash drawers, processing and posting payments to accounts, and updating account information.

• Receive and record transactions, ensuring that all revenues are forwarded appropriately.

• Research accounts and make necessary adjustments in line with established rules and procedures.

• Notify customers of deposits due and payment discrepancies as required, and post time extensions for payments.

• Utilize skills in ‘Customer Service’, ‘Answering Inbound Calls’, ‘Professionally Answer’, ‘Assist Customers’, ‘Computer Data Entry’ in order to deliver excellent customer service. Requirements • Proven experience in Customer Service, preferably within the water industry

• Proficient in handling and professionally answering inbound calls

• Ability to assist customers with inquiries and complaints in a respectful and efficient manner

• Strong computer skills, particularly in data entry and management

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• Demonstrated problem-solving abilities

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Must possess strong organizational skills and attention to detail

• High school diploma or equivalent qualification required

• Knowledge of industry-specific software is a plus.
