Description
Our client in the Leetsdale area is looking to add a full-time Customer Service and Sales Assistant with experience in customer service, order entry, and strong organization and communication skills. This position will also have responsibilities that require familiarity with Microsoft Excel, Adobe PDF, and NetSuite (or other related software). Hours are 8am-4:30pm and it is a contract to hire, fully onsite role. Pay range is $18-$21, depending on experience.
The ideal candidate would be someone who has strong customer service skills, highly organized, and ability to work well as a team and individually to complete requested tasks.
This person will work within the Customer Service Department of the North America division as well as other related departments as necessary.
This position is in-house at its Headquarters in Leetsdale, Pennsylvania.
Key Responsibilities:
• Answering all direct phone calls – returning all voicemails and emails
• Monitor and respond to Customer Service emails and well as Sales Support emails
• Order Entry and Invoicing through various sources, such as direct phone calls, emails, and/or ecommerce
• Assist in answering Customer Service Line & responding to voicemails
• Addressing Customer needs, as necessary
• Working with Purchasing for Distributor Promotional Allocations
• Maintain files of Direct Accounts and Credit Card Authorizations
• Backup Customer Service Administrator when they are out of the office
• Assist in the maintenance and distribution of all Price Lists / Order Forms & No Charge Request Forms
• Prepare Return Authorizations
• Print materials for the warehouse, colleagues, and orders
• Create reports for & complete various tasks (bulk mailings, etc.) requested by management, colleagues, etc.
• Assist in year-end tasks (moving files, creating new labels/folders, etc.)
• Complete ad hoc Order reports for management, as requested
• Support needs of Sales Team and Office Staff including:
o Orders, questions, requests and tasks, as necessary
• Assist in new sales program initiatives
• Assist the education department with class ticket sales, order entry and phone calls
Desired Skills and Requirements:
• Bachelor’s/Associate’s Degree preferred
• Minimum 2 years Customer Service and Order Entry experience
• Proficiency in NetSuite (or other related software), Microsoft Excel, and Adobe is required
• Outstanding communication skills, both written and verbal
• Exemplary organizational skills, with a high attention to detail
• Experience working under pressure in a fast-paced environment
• Willing to accept feedback and take direction

• Experience in answering inbound calls and making outbound calls
• Previous experience in a call center customer service role
• Excellent customer service skills and ability to handle customer inquiries
• Strong data entry skills with high attention to detail
• Ability to manage email correspondence professionally and efficiently
• Experience in order entry and processing
• Ability to schedule appointments efficiently and effectively
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work well as part of a team and independently
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to handle customer complaints effectively
• Ability to multitask and manage time effectively
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment
• Professional demeanor and positive attitude.
