Customer Service Representative in Lexington, Kentucky

Description We are offering a contract to hire employment opportunity for a Customer Service Representative in the hospitality industry. This role is based in Lexington-Fayette, Kentucky, and will involve managing customer reservation requests and troubleshooting a variety of issues. The successful candidate will be expected to work at a quick pace and input correct data.

Responsibilities:

• Manage customer reservation requests via inbound and outbound calls

• Accurately enter reservation details into the system

• Utilize problem-solving skills over the phone to assist hotels and clients with issues

• Communicate issues effectively and professionally with all clients and departments

• Utilize proper grammar and appropriate speech to annotate client needs and issues

• Begin assigned duties on time and deliver on time

• Handle inbound calls within department KPI goals

• Complete reservations within expected department KPI goals

• Perform other duties as needed or assigned

• Display proficiency in Inbound Call Center, Inbound Outbound Calls, Call Center Customer Service, and Resolve Customer Service skills. Requirements • Proven experience in the hospitality industry, preferably in a customer service role.

• Demonstrated ability to handle both inbound and outbound calls in a call center environment.

• Strong proficiency in providing excellent customer service over the phone.

• Ability to resolve customer service issues effectively and efficiently.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

• Ability to handle high-pressure situations and maintain composure.

• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think on your feet.

• Proficiency in using call center software and other relevant computer applications.

• Availability to work in shifts, including weekends and holidays, as required in the hospitality industry.

• High school diploma or equivalent; higher degree in hospitality or a related field will be a plus.

• Commitment to delivering a high level of customer service.

• Ability to work as part of a team and interact with different levels within the organization.
