Description We are seeking a meticulous Customer Service Representative to join our team in the machinery and worktools industry based in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. This role involves a significant amount of data entry and requires an individual with a keen eye for detail. The opportunity presents a contract to hire employment opportunity, where you will be tasked with managing customer accounts, processing returns, and handling customer inquiries, among other responsibilities.

Responsibilities:

• Accurately process customer credit applications and conduct data entry tasks.

• Handle return good authorizations and rebates.

• Maintain detailed and accurate customer credit records.

• Resolve customer complaints and inquiries promptly and professionally.

• Operate in a fast-paced call center environment, managing high call volumes.

• Use Microsoft Teams, Word, Outlook, and Excel to manage and track customer interactions.

• Work closely with the customer success team to create positive customer experiences.

• Monitor customer accounts and take appropriate action when necessary.

• Utilize call center metrics and operations to optimize customer service delivery.

• Draw on previous call center experience to navigate and resolve customer issues effectively. Requirements • Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a customer service role, preferably in a call center environment

• Proficiency in call center operations and understanding of call center metrics

• Experience in a high volume, fast-paced call center is essential

• Proven track record of delivering excellent customer service and resolving customer complaints effectively

• Demonstrable experience with inbound call center operations and previous call center roles

• Proficiency in computer data entry, typing data entry, and Microsoft Office Suite (Teams, Word, Outlook, Excel)

• Ability to work well in a team and contribute to customer success stories

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

• Ability to multitask and manage time effectively

• High level of professionalism and ability to handle sensitive information with discretion

• Ability to work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment

• Problem-solving skills and ability to think on your feet

• High school diploma or equivalent is required; a college degree is preferred.
