Customer Service Representative in Newport Beach, California

Description We are offering a contract to hire employment opportunity for a Customer Service Representative in Newport Beach, California. This role is in a call center setting, where you will be a key player in delivering exceptional customer service. Your main duty will be to assist customers by answering incoming calls and emails, and ensuring their inquiries and concerns are addressed promptly and professionally.

Responsibilities:

• Operate as the first point of contact for incoming customer inquiries via phone and email

• Provide accurate, valid, and complete information to customers by using the right methods and tools

• Handle customer complaints, provide appropriate solutions and alternatives, and follow up to ensure resolution

• Work closely with other team members to meet or exceed customer service goals and standards

• Use customer service skills to enhance the overall customer experience

• Maintain strong knowledge of products and services to offer accurate information to customers

• Manage large amounts of incoming calls and emails, ensuring customer satisfaction and loyalty

• Utilize problem-solving skills to handle difficult or irate customers in a professional manner

• Handle customer issues, inquiries, and complaints in a timely and effective manner

• Keep records of customer interactions, process customer accounts, and file documents. Requirements • Proven experience in a Customer Service Representative role or similar customer-facing roles

• Proficiency in using call center software and other relevant computer applications

• Demonstrated ability to assist customers effectively and resolve their queries promptly

• Excellent knowledge of customer service principles and practices

• Experience in medical billing and related software is highly desirable

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage customers in a friendly and respectful manner

• High level of patience and ability to manage stressful situations

• Ability to work in a team environment and contribute to team goals

• Good problem-solving skills and the ability to make decisions under pressure

• Willingness to continually improve customer service skills and product knowledge

• Availability to work in shifts, during weekends, or on holidays if required.
