Description We are seeking a Customer Service Representative to join our team in the construction industry located in NORTON, Ohio. This role involves processing incoming and outgoing calls in a fast-paced environment with a focus on customer service and quality work performance. This position offers a contract to hire employment opportunity and requires skills in areas such as customer service, data entry, email correspondence, and handling inbound and outbound calls.

Responsibilities:

• Process and handle incoming and outgoing calls efficiently and accurately.

• Maintain and update the customer records in the CRM program on a regular basis.

• Generate reports as needed or requested by the National Accounts Manager or customer.

• Provide status updates and report any deficiencies to the Account Representative.

• Coordinate with technicians to obtain status reports and manage open tickets in the Falcon & CRM programs.

• Schedule appointments and manage customer inquiries and requests.

• Use Microsoft Excel for data entry and order entry tasks.

• Provide back-up support to the receptionist for the switchboard during breaks and on-call overflow.

• Work on other duties and projects as assigned, ensuring an understanding of the inspection services provided by the company. Requirements • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel is required

• Expertise in customer service is essential

• Must possess strong skills in data entry

• Experience in handling both inbound and outbound calls is necessary

• Capability to efficiently manage email correspondence

• Familiarity with order entry systems is required

• Ability to schedule appointments effectively

• Must be able to generate reports as needed by management

• Knowledge of the construction/contractor industry is preferred

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively

• High level of accuracy and attention to detail

• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to think on feet

• Professional and positive attitude towards work and colleagues.
