Description We are offering a contract-to-hire employment opportunity for a Customer Service Representative in the Manufacturing industry, located in Torrance, California. In this role, you will be a key player in maintaining customer satisfaction and service, handling various customer-related tasks, and ensuring the smooth operation within a dynamic team environment.

Responsibilities:

• Facilitate and manage customer orders with precision, and ensure return authorizations are issued when needed.

• Take charge of customer complaints, concerns, and inquiries, ensuring all issues are resolved in a timely manner.

• Remain updated on product lines, market trends, and related events to provide informed customer service.

• Collaborate with the Customer Service Manager to report customer complaints and errors.

• Manage customer interactions through various channels such as face-to-face, phone, email, and fax.

• Oversee the organization and filing of pick tickets for efficient record-keeping.

• Contribute to team efforts by taking on additional duties as assigned by management.

• Maintain consistent attendance and reliability to ensure seamless operations.

• Develop a deep understanding of customer needs, using this knowledge to offer solutions and support.

• Utilize skills in Customer Service and Call Center Customer Service to ensure optimal customer experience. Requirements

• Proficiency in customer service and call center customer service

• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal

• Ability to handle customer inquiries and complaints in a professional and timely manner

• Strong problem-solving skills to effectively address customer issues

• Knowledge of manufacturing industry products and services is preferred

• Familiarity with customer service software, databases, and CRM tools

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle high call volumes

• Flexibility to work in shifts as needed

• High school diploma or equivalent education level

• Knowledge or interest in tennis/sports is a plus

• Strong team player with a customer-oriented approach

• Excellent multitasking skills with the ability to manage multiple requests, tasks, and projects

• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

• Ability to maintain a high level of professionalism and confidentiality.
