Overview
Amyx is seeking a skilled Cyber Security Analyst with experience in Government cyber and information assurance (IA) requirements, coupled with proficiency of the Risk Management Framework (RMF). The ideal candidate will play a crucial role by supporting the program ISSM while managing cyber activities for the HMMS program. Reporting experience in eMASS and CyberSwat system architecture documentation is required, as the position will involve utilizing these tools daily.
Responsibilities
- Work with program ISSM to propose resolutions to priority cyber findings
- Provide the necessary coordination and documentation to ensure that all versions of HMMS software meet IA and cyber security requirements
- Support cyber security validations and control testing, eMASS, CyberSwat System Architecture Documents
- Acts as a member of the project team responsible for providing technical guidance concerning the business implications of the application of various systems
- Stay updated on emerging technologies and industry best practices to continually provide excellent cyber and IA support
- Must have the ability to communicate accurate information
Qualifications
Required:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- Ability to hold a Department of Defense security clearance is required
- Obtaining a CompTIA Security+ certification will be required as part of the position
- Proven experience as a Cyber Security Analyst, with expertise in RMF, eMASS and CyberSwat
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot complex issues independentl
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with team members and stakeholders
- Ability to work well under pressure and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
Desired:
- DoD, DLA and/or federal government experience
- DOD 5000.1, 5000.2 and Guidebook knowledge
