Description Position: IT CYBER SECURITY ENGINEER

Location: DES MOINES, IA — FLEXIBLE HYBRID (1-3 DAYS IN OFFICE, REMAINDER REMOTE)

Salary: $80,000 – 110,000 BASE ANNUAL SALARY + EXCEPTIONAL BENEFITS

Our client organization has it all for the right IT CYBER SECURITY ENGINEER – DIRECT HIRE – FLEXIBLE HYBRID position. Our client company is a long standing local success, who has grown and thrived through organic and strategic merger and acquisition growth. You will join a team of about 20 in IT and support about 2500 users or business partners.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage security systems, install security software and hardware

• Monitor network traffic and response to security incidents

• Work with third-party vendors and service providers.

Essential Skills:

• Bachelor’s degree in technology related field or 5+ years of experience in field or related area

• Prior experience in roles such as IT security analyst, IT security administrator, or IT system administrator with concentrated focus on security initiatives

• Experience and or certifications in any of the following areas:

○ Azure, Palo Alto, Proofpoint, Darktrace, vendor risk, other

○ Any certifications a plus: CISSP, CEH, CompTIA Security+, other
