Job Description Qualifications:

Boeing Defense, Space and Security (BDS) is seeking a Cyber Security Specialist to support our dynamic team in Hazelwood, Missouri! 

Position Responsibilities:

• Contributes to the development and deployment of program information security for assigned systems to meet the program and enterprise requirements, policies, standards, guidelines and procedures.
• Implements Risk Management Framework (RMF) processes, product development and product maintenance for assigned systems.
• Performs security compliance continuous monitoring. Participates in security assessments and audits.
• Prepares and presents technical reports and briefings.
• Contributes to the identification of root causes, the prioritization of threats, and recommends/ implements corrective action.
• Provides mentoring and technical leadership within the information security program team. Explores the enterprise and industry for the evolving state of industry knowledge and methods regarding information security best practices.
• Supports development of enterprise-wide information security policies, standards, guidelines and procedures that may reach across multiple stakeholder organizations.

This position is hybrid. This means that the selected candidate will be required to perform some work onsite at the listed location.  This is at the hiring team’s discretion and could potentially change in the future.

This position requires the ability to obtain a U.S. Secret Security Clearance for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

• 3+ years of experience installing, configuring, troubleshooting, and administering current Windows Server 2016 – 2019 and Desktop Operating Systems – Windows 10
• 5+ years of experience with security infrastructure, product and cybersecurity systems analysis, design, development, and testing

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

• Experience providing system administration of RedHat 7.x or 8.x
• CompTIA Security certification
• Experience using PowerShell, Bash, and Python
• Experience with SAN/Shared Storage
• Experience executing DoD STIGs for operating systems (Windows 10, Windows Server 2016+)

Typical Education / Experience:

Level 3

Education/experience typically acquired through advanced technical education (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 5 or more years’ related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience (e.g. PhD, Master+3 years’ related work experience, 9 years’ related work experience, etc.)

Level 4

Education/experience typically acquired through advanced technical education (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 9 or more years’ related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience (e.g. PhD+4 years’ related work experience, Master+7 years’ related work experience, 13 years’ related work experience, etc.).

Level 3 USD $92,650 – $125,350

Level 4 USD $115,600 – $156,400
