This role combines technical expertise with exceptional sales acumen to deliver innovative solutions tailored to customer needs. As a Cybersecurity Pre-Sales Solutions Architect, you will act as a trusted advisor, bridging the gap between technical and business stakeholders, while driving revenue growth and ensuring customer satisfaction.Responsibilities:

  • Technical Sales Support: Collaborate with the sales team to understand customer requirements and design tailored solutions that align with their needs.
  • Product Demonstrations: Conduct engaging and informative product demonstrations, presentations, and proofs-of-concept to showcase technical capabilities.
  • Proposal Development: Prepare technical proposals, including sizing a Bill of Material, scope of work, pricing, and timelines, in collaboration with internal teams.
  • Customer Engagement: Build strong relationships with clients by addressing technical questions, resolving challenges, and providing ongoing support during the sales cycle.
  • Market Expertise: Stay updated on industry trends, competitor offerings, and emerging technologies to position the company as a leader in the market.
  • Revenue Contribution: Support the achievement of sales targets by driving the technical close of deals.
  • Communication & Presentation: Strong ability to translate complex technical concepts into non-technical terms for stakeholders.
  • Travel: mainly within the Greater Toronto Area (GTA) and some travel to conferences up to 10% within North America.

What you bring to the role:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Network Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology or equivalent
  • Strong Knowledge of Network Security is required.
  • Familiarity with industry-standard security frameworks, firewalls, VPNs, intrusion detection systems (IDS), and network security best practices is ideal.
  • Knowledge of cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud.
  • Understanding of antivirus, EDR (Endpoint Detection and Response), and XDR (Extended Detection and Response) solutions.
  • Compliance and Regulatory Standards: Familiarity with standards like GDPR, HIPAA, ISO 27001, PCI-DSS, NIST, and CMMC.
  • Network Security Certifications such as Cisco CCNP, CompTIA Security+, and Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP)) would be an asset but not required.
  • Skilled in delivering engaging, informative, and confident product demos and Proof of Concepts (PoCs) to clients, leadership, and other stakeholders.
  • Able to manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring all tasks, demos, and presentations are prepared on time and executed efficiently.
