Holis is an entity of the Singulier Group, a consulting firm providing strategic and transformation support for private equity/investment funds and established companies.Holis is an entrepreneurial initiative to build and drive data analytics expertise at Singulier. With our multiple data sources, we build a holistic view of target companies, their consumers and their market. The goal is to help our clients make informed decisions based on our insights they wouldn’t otherwise have access to easily.We work with our strategy consultants or directly with our clients, and manage all our data processing, from data gathering to data visualisation.To support and accelerate our analyses, we are gradually building a platform that is automating the different data processes used to answer the needs of our clients. Whenever we identify a recurring need, we build the corresponding piece of platform and processes so that everything progressively becomes leaner and more efficient. Ideally, we want to fully automate an comprehensive set of analyses that answers all the questions around a given company’s performance.Being an analyst at HolisAt Holis, the role of the Analytics Team is to help our clients get the most valuable insights from our data.We work closely with the Tech Team and Singulier consultants to deliver a complete expertise from the initial problem scoping to client delivery, including of course all data steps along the way.When working on a client case, the Analytics Team responsibilities include: identify and scope relevant analyses to answer a business question gather, clean and enrich data as much as necessary build the analyses, drive conclusions and present our insightsAside from client cases, the Analytics Team also has a pivotal role in buildingHolis. We are ideally fit to identify opportunities for scale and iterating with the Tech team to build our internal assets. Our team carries the voice of our customers and helps guaranteeing that what we build has value for our business. Therefore, this is a highly entrepreneurial, multi skilled team with a lot of possibilities for learning and growth.Job descriptionWe are looking for a Data Analyst to work closely with our consultant on client projects to build and deliver the best analyses.Your missionsAfter an onboarding and coaching phase, your main objectives will be:– Work on different missions with our consultants on data cleaning, data preparation and data analysis– Implement the Holis “Market & Competitionˮ analyses methodology on new business cases or develop new analysis with the consultants– Optimize each integration productivity to deliver future projects faster, by finding ways to improve the various parts of the data flow– Work with the data engineers to guarantee an always operational data infrastructureDepending on your skillset, your interests and the needs of Holis, you may also be involved upstream in data engineering projects, or downstream with client facing and consulting responsibilities.You will arrive at a pivotal moment in the adventure, when Holis is growing and working to stabilize its vision and product.Our stackWe like to try new things out but most of our stack is of course built around Python (pandas) and Spark. Here are the things we use:Notion / MiroPython / SparkDatabricks / PostmanGitlab CI / Docker / Clickhouse / Zookeeper / AirflowGoogle Cloud PlatformRequirementsYou want to work on concrete data projects for clients in various types of industriesYou have enough experience with Python, Spark, R or any language fit to process data at scale.Ideally, you graduated from a top engineering Grand Ecole where you specialized in data science or computer scienceYou are looking for a startup experience with a dynamic environment and challenges.You are not afraid to explore and learn new tools, languages, or anything that could be useful to you or the teamIdeally, you have launched your own entrepreneurial project in the pastYou have already worked on projects involving data cleaning, preparation, enrichment or visualizationYou are structured and have a sense of ownership and responsibility.Hiring process
