This role will be fully remote, offering flexibility and the chance to contribute to our data infrastructure. In this role, you will work closely with data engineers and analysts to design, develop, and implement data pipelines that are at the heart of our product.Key responsibilities of the Analytics Engineer;

  • Develop and maintain data models using dbt and SQL that are efficient, scalable, and reliable.
  • Implement data quality monitoring and data validation throughout the data models you build to ensure high reliability.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders at all levels of the business to understand their data needs and deliver solutions to meet them.
  • Manage stakeholder expectations and communicate project status, risks, and issues efficiently.
  • Maintain documentation, manage change and technical debt, and ensure that our stack can scale.
  • Collaborate with other members of the Data team to continuously improve our stack and drive innovation.

About You
We’re looking for an Analytics Engineer who is eager to learn new skills whilst contributing to a fast-paced SaaS environment.Here’s what makes you a great fit:

  • Advanced SQL and (optionally) experience with Python.
  • Experience building scalable, high-quality data models that serve complex business use cases of our customers.
  • Experience working with an Orchestration tool such as Airflow
  • Experience working in a software engineering
  • It would be valuable to have experience working with ambiguity in a scale-up (or scale-up-like) environment
  • Excellent communication skills and experience in managing stakeholder expectations across the business.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with other data professionals, engineers, and business stakeholders.
  • You’ll have great attention to detail
  • Knowledge of financial data and ledger-based systems a plus
