Monday – Friday, flexible working hoursRef No: HRJOB10570Business Unit: Almac SciencesLocation: Craigavon, Northern Ireland, UKOpen To: Internal and external candidatesThe RoleWorking as part of the Analytical Development team, the post holder will review data and documents associated with development and phase appropriate validation of analytical methods in support of API manufacturing projects for small molecules and/or peptides.These methods include, but are not limited to, determination of assay and related substances by HPLC/UHPLC/GC, determination of residual solvent content by GC, determination of water content by Karl Fischer, counter ion content by IC. The data and document reviewer will also be responsible for reviewing data associated with forced degradation studies and reference standard characterisation.As part of a busy team within a rapidly growing organisation, operating within a challenging industry you will benefit from the numerous personal and professional developmental opportunities available throughout the Almac group.*We will consider applications for either general or Senior DADR level. Please review attached Job Descriptions outlining key differences.Essential Criteria· 5 GCSE (or equivalent) grades A*- C, including Mathematics and English Language· Degree level qualification in an Analytical/Chemistry related discipline.(A Higher-Level Qualification in relevant discipline, including significant industry experience, may be considered in Lieu of Degree Qualification)· Previous laboratory experience in a GMP/GLP environment· Working knowledge of multiple laboratory techniquesDesirable Criteria· Postgraduate level qualification (or equivalent) in a related discipline· Experience in method development and/or validationRECRUITMENT AGENCIES PLEASE NOTE: Almac will only accept applications from agencies/business partners that have been invited to work on this role by our Talent Acquisition team.
