Join us on our journey for a better tomorrow.Data Engineer – Semiconductor Service (VSS)About Us: Join Edwards, a leader in the Semiconductor sector and part of the Atlas Copco Group. We’re expanding our digital team to support rapid industry growth.Your Mission: As a Data Engineer, you’ll optimize our data architecture and pipelines, ensuring high-quality data for analytics. You’ll support developers, data analysts, and scientists, and may travel between Edwards and customer sites.Here’s how you will help:
- You will create, test, and maintain data pipelines in Azure Data Factory.
- Automate processes and optimize data delivery.
- Ensure infrastructure supports data extraction, transformation, and loading.
- You will collaborate with stakeholders to resolve data issues.
- You will develop tools for analytics and data science teams.
- Automate routine tasks using scripting languages.
- Use analysis tools to link and contextualize data.
- You will work on analytics and predictive models with business analysts and solution architects.
- Collaborate with IS and DevOps teams on big data infrastructure.
To succeed you need:
- Proficient in SQL and relational databases.
- Experience with data pipelines, architectures, and tools (Hadoop, Spark, Kafka).
- Familiarity with NoSQL databases and scripting languages (Python, Java, C++, Scala).
- Experience with Azure Data Factory.
- Strong project management and organizational skills.
- Experience in cross-functional team environments.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel; PowerBI is a plus.
- Excellent English communication skills; additional languages are a plus.
- Basic knowledge of Machine Learning and SAP is beneficial.
