Data Insight Developer and Analyst
Job Location: Northwest of England/Yorkshire

We have a fantastic opportunity for a Data Insight Developer and Analyst across the northwest of England and Yorkshire
The role is responsible for managing and delivering projects across Sedgwick UK within agreed timescales and costs. These projects typically involve business changes or acquisitions, focusing on delivering business transformation, applications, and systems necessary for success.
Key responsibilities include gathering stakeholders’ reporting and dashboard requirements, managing and developing Data Warehouse interfaces, and collecting current business, technical, and reporting requirements. The role also involves hands-on development of analytical systems, primarily building Snowflake workflows and Tableau applications.
Additionally, the role requires developing practical solutions to derive insights, improve decision-making, and streamline processes by automating reporting needs. Designing and implementing reports, dashboards, and visualisations using BI tools is crucial.
Maintaining documentation for design, development, and reporting work is essential. Sharing best practices and successes across different lines of business and geographies is also important. The role focuses on optimising reporting dashboards for usability, performance, flexibility, testability, and standardisation, as well as enhancing reporting schemas and data marts.
About You:

Your Experience Includes:
Demonstrable development experience using Tableau or a similar self-service BI product.
Experience in creating interactive dashboards with actions, parameter controls, and filters.
Experience in the analytics and reporting lifecycle.
Knowledge of SQL.
Knowledge of Snowflake.
Background in preparing data for analysis, KPI definition, and reporting.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, etc.).
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
Excellent communication and presentation skills.
