• As a member of the Publication Operations team, the Data Modelling Specialist will be responsible for managing the data model through our data pipeline.
• Gain an in-depth understanding on the availability and publication of key data domains for entities: firmographics, financial statements, directors/managers, and shareholder structures.
• Help in documenting the data dictionary.
• Coordinate and provide Logical Data Model information across the business especially among engineers and product strategists.
• Document and gather the requirements from the business.
• Design, maintain and update the data model based on stakeholder requests following the data model governance operational workflow.
• Design, set up and start operating the data model governance operational workflow.
• Produce and validate the stakeholder’s enablement material.
• Inform and educate stakeholders.
• Manage the reference table system(s).

Qualifications

• Minimum bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Economics, Finance, Information Systems, Computer Science or related major, master’s degree is a plus.
• 3+ years of professional Data Operations experience particularly focusing on the data models area.
• Experience with Data Modelling tools (Hackolade, ERwin, ER/Studio) is mandatory.
• Understand all aspects of ETL processes.
• Excellent oral/written communication and presentation skills which bring clarity and precision to help management understand and visualize complex material to support organizational decision-making is a must.
• Excellent problem-solving and critical-thinking skills to recognize and comprehend complex issues, processes, and requirements regarding managing large data sets.
• Willing to learn new technologies, capable of self-directed learning.
• Experience with Collibra.
• Experience with streaming and APIs technology.
• Experience writing SQL and/or Python queries
• Knowledge of SQL Server Architecture as well as NoSQL frameworks.
• Nice-to-have French language knowledge.
