We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Data Operations Manager to join our dynamic and growing team. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in developing and managing a company-wide approach to data analysis, governance, and strategy. This new role offers an exciting opportunity to define and implement a future state vision for data that spans multiple departments and functional areas, helping to align data operations with long-term business goals. The Data Operations Manager will oversee the collection, analysis, accuracy, and interpretation of data to support decision-making, while ensuring data resources across the business are integrated and optimized.

The responsibilities of the role include:
- Develop and implement a comprehensive data strategy that supports future business requirements and ensures data consistency, integration, and alignment across various functional areas, including SaaS Operations, Corporate IT, Customer Success, Sales & Commercial Operations, Marketing Operations, Finance, Professional Services, and more.
- Provide strategic guidance and support to various teams and stakeholders, helping them enhance their data management practices, from framework development to operationalization.
- Define and shape the data governance framework that supports both short-term operations and the strategic vision for data utilization across the company.
- Oversee and enhance data platforms to ensure they meet evolving business needs and contribute to operational success.
- Lead the development of a platform strategy, including managing upgrades, migrations, and new implementations, while ensuring the data infrastructure supports both current needs and future scalability.
- Ensure all data and related tooling comply with data integrity and compliance standards, maintaining accuracy and reliability across all datasets.
- Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams (Salesforce Administration, Database Administration (DBA), Enterprise Architecture, Commercial, Corporate IT, Finance, Sales Ops etc.) to ensure alignment and successful completion of data-related projects.
- Manage and maintain effective ETL processes to ensure seamless data flow and transformation across the business.
What we’re looking for:
Must have skills/experience:
- A minimum of 5+ years hands-on, proven industry experience in a similar role.
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, data management, or a related field.
- A proven track record of leading and managing teams responsible for data quality, governance, and controls, especially within an agile environment.
- Expertise in scaling data operations to support business growth, both operationally and strategically.
- Experience with a major CRM technology solution, Salesforce.
- Strong expertise in data quality and controls, including the ability to design data structures, implement effective controls, develop quality metrics, and apply statistics and data visualization techniques.
- A combination of operational experience, with a focus on operational risk and exposure to data governance.
- Experience shaping and executing data strategy that aligns with multiple business areas such as Sales, Marketing, Finance, IT, and Customer Success.
Advantageous skills/experience:
- Experience with data warehouses and data lakes in large scale environments.
- Experience in data visualisation systems like AWS QuickSight, Power BI, Tableau
- Experience working in regulated industries such as Financial Services, Insurance and Healthcare
