You will manage our team of Data platform Engineers and will operate and maintain the existing infrastructure. This role will be reporting to the Head of Data & Machine Learning. In this role you will be responsible for owning the Data Platform from end-to-end. The person taking on the role will be expected to have a clear vision for how the platform should operate and drive projects which enhance our existing platform and will implement new pieces as required.Requirements
- Deep expertise in modern data stack technologies, both as an owner and operator
- At least 2 years of people management experience (this role will have 3-4 direct reports)
- Strong written & verbal communication skills (must be able to explain complex technical ideas and projects to non-technical stakeholders)
- Project management
Desirable Skills:
- Experience working with YouLend’s Data stack: Terraform, AWS, Rackspace, Helmchart, Jenkins, Snowflake, Metabase, Tableau
- Experience in financial services / lending
