Job description
DescriptionAppleOne is hiring G-Class Delivery Drivers in Beamsville, ON!
- Shift: Must be flexible- Monday to Saturday
- Contract position until June 2025
- Pay: $22/hr
- Must have clear driving record and valid license
Duties:
- Operate a 26-foot automatic straight truck to deliver various products to customer locations such as warehouses and storefronts.
- Load the truck with products at the start of each day, and unload at the delivery site using the automatic tailgate.
- Maintain clear and effective communication with clients during deliveries to ensure customer satisfaction.
- Safely lift and handle items up to 50lbs, including racks of potted herbs, vegetables, and flowers.
- Collect Proof of Delivery (PDO) from customers upon successful delivery.
- Conduct daily pre-trip vehicle inspections to ensure the truck is in safe working condition.
- Operate the motorized vehicle and other necessary equipment in a safe and efficient manner.
- Foster positive interactions with staff and customers by providing friendly and professional service.
- Physically capable of handling and moving plant materials as required for deliveries.
Qualifications:
- Ability to lift and move items up to 50lbs.
- Strong communication skills with a focus on customer interaction.
- Prior experience driving a 26-foot truck is preferred.
- Ability to work in a physically demanding environment.
- Valid license; clear CVOR or abstract
Expected salary
$22 per hour
