• Responsible for creating brand-right apparel + accessories’ product for Joe Fresh.
• Research, conceptualize, and design styles from concept to proto, managing up to the Sr. Designer/Design Director.
• Create and maintain product line sheets according to SKU plans, sales needs, and emerging trends.
• Sketch product in Illustrator and 3D CLO application.
• Create and maintain styles in PLM (Product Lifecycle Management) during the development process.
• Adheres to design development deadlines in accordance with the corporate calendar.
• Lead the development and management of tech packs in PLM.
• Partner with buying teams to understand how the line is currently performing in stores – quarterly stores, lead design meetings, and action feedback for continual innovation and/or improvement of product.
• Responsible for understanding the impact on decisions to timelines and margins
• Attends development fittings.
• Collaborate with Product Development, Raw Materials, Technical Design, and QA (Quality Assurance) to support execution of product.
• Mentor and develop Assistant Designer (if applicable).
• Global travel for research / concept and product development may be required .
• All other duties as assigned.
