This is a great opportunity to develop a varied and rewarding career with a company that invests in, recognises and rewards its people.Reporting to the Platform Leader, you’ll oversee development teams to deliver projects and develop n-tier component based designs using OO development methodologies. You’ll be working within an offshore development model as teams are predominantly based outside of the UK. You’ll take ownership of a number of in-house built applications, growing your knowledge in the code, how the systems work and the business usage of the applications.You will also:– Be responsible for inputting to the Solution Design for all changes within your managed applications ensuring the code quality is kept at a high standard– Oversee development teams, running the day to day activities ensuring that solution designs are met and that the code is achieved following standards set out.– Be responsible for the architectural integrity, capability and performance of the systems aligned to them– Work with Development teams responsible for developing, enhancing and supporting our systems including analysing, understanding and documenting Solution and Technical requirements; Creating amending and continuously improving Digital Development Guidelines– Help team member to investigate, document and resolve production problems, applying the development lifecycle and devising accurate project, test, implementation and support plans in collaboration with Technology and Project Managers– Liaise with other architects and Lead Developers to provide solutions that meet business requirements and long-term technical strategy.Who we’re looking forAt Premium Credit, you will be supported to develop and expand your skills, knowledge and experience.You’ll have a proven track record of delivering, designing and reviewing robust, high availability transactional applications to time and budget. You’re enthusiastic and pro-active, with the drive and commitment to work effectively in a challenging environment. You’ll have a passion for understanding how the whole solution works and how it benefits the business ownersTo be successful as our Lead Developer, you’ll have experience in reviewing and creating C# code to standards and an understanding of the full development lifecycle.– Knowledge of Microsoft .NET Developer toolset (Visual Studio), TFS, Office applications Azure, C#, Web Frameworks (ASP.Net) and various Libraries (React)– Experience in writing Solution designs for technical implementation– Experience in leading teams at a technical level– Experience in software design principles– It would be ideal if you have experience in leading design workshops with people internal and external to the design teamWe are committed to providing reasonable adjustments or accommodations for applicants, so if you need assistance or support during the recruitment process, please let us know on the application form or by sending an email toIf you’re made an offer of employment you will be required to prove your eligibility to work in the UK before you start work.
