We are looking for experience in the following skills:

• Awareness of key concepts in DevOps and Agile principles
• Cloud computing skills: Working knowledge of various tools, open-source technologies, and cloud services such as Amazon Web Services (AWS), Google Cloud Platform (GCP), or Microsoft Azure including respective cloud shell, serverless and other cloud native and offerings.
• Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) skills including pipeline design/implementation.
• Use Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools and techniques and follow everything-as-code principles (e.g. Terraform, Ansible, CloudFormation, Bicep or GCP deployment manager)
• Containerisation skills: knowledge of containerization technologies such as Docker, Kubernetes, or OpenShift to manage and orchestrate containerized applications.
• Collaboration skills: must have excellent collaboration skills to work with cross-functional teams such as developers, testers, and operations personnel.
• Security skills: must have knowledge of modern security practices and technologies to ensure the security of applications and infrastructure.
• Must have excellent problem solving and communication skills to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders and collaborate effectively with team members.
• Mentoring and developing junior DevOps engineers and leads teams effectively (depending on your career level)

Set yourself apart:

• It would be advantageous to have prior experience working within Technology projects within Health or Public Service
• Experience of working in a multi-cloud experience ((including but not limited to AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud), with an understanding of the various platforms and tools.
