Description
We are offering a contract to hire employment opportunity for a Build Release Engineer/Developer IV in Sun Prairie, Wisconsin. This remote position is within the tech industry and requires a candidate to lead the design, implementation, and maintenance of our DevSecOps platforms.

Responsibilities:
• Design and architect the DevSecOps platforms to meet scalability, performance, and security requirements.
• Conduct technology evaluations and re-engineering activities to support strategy definition and continuous improvement activities.
• Integrate and manage a suite of DevSecOps tools including source code repositories, continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines, automated testing, and security scanning tools.
• Implement automated Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to measure and report DevSecOps platform utilization against agreed software development lifecycle (SDLC) standards.
• Establish and enforce DevSecOps policies, standards, and best practices to ensure compliance with industry regulations and organizational security policies.
• Lead and mentor a team of DevSecOps engineers globally, providing technical guidance, training, and support.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including developers, operations, security, and business stakeholders to promote collaboration and alignment across the organization.
• Monitor the DevSecOps platform for security incidents and anomalies and lead incident response efforts to mitigate risks and ensure the integrity of the platforms.
Requirements • Proficient in communication, both written and verbal, with the ability to express complex ideas in a clear and concise manner.
• Demonstrated experience in reporting, including the ability to interpret data, draw conclusions, and make actionable recommendations.
• Proven experience in delivering training to a variety of audiences, potentially including technical and non-technical staff.
• Understanding of operations, including the ability to manage projects, troubleshoot issues and ensure smooth day-to-day running of processes.
• Familiarity with policy creation and enforcement, with a focus on ensuring company-wide adherence.
• Proven design skills, specifically in relation to the build and release process.
• Experience with leadership, including the ability to motivate a team, manage conflict and drive results.
• Knowledge of billing procedures and experience in financial management.
• Understanding of security protocols, including the ability to ensure compliance and protect sensitive data.
• Familiarity with regulations, including industry-specific rules and general business laws.
• Proven experience in implementation, specifically relating to build release processes.
• Demonstrated knowledge of compliance management and the ability to ensure company-wide adherence.
• Understanding of practices within the industry, including the ability to adapt to changing trends.
• Experience working with stakeholders, including the ability to negotiate, communicate effectively and manage expectations.
• Proven experience with integration, specifically in relation to disparate systems and software.
• Familiarity with monitoring tools and the ability to use this software to maintain system health.
• Proven ability to collaborate with a variety of teams, including technical and non-technical staff.
• Understanding of best practices within the industry and the ability to implement these within the business.
• Experience with KPI reporting and the ability to use these metrics to drive improvement.
• Familiarity with Agile methodology and the ability to work within this framework.
• Proven experience with configuration management, specifically in relation to build release processes.
• Knowledge of GitHub and the ability to use this platform effectively.
• Demonstrated ability to ensure compliance, both in relation to company policies and wider regulations.
