Are you a reliable, resilient, and hard-working individual looking for a long-term opportunity with an excellent organization? A very well-known provider of trash and recycling services is hiring a full-time, temp-to-hire Auto Mechanic/Diesel Tech on 2nd shift for their facility in South Phoenix.

You will receive detailed on-the-job training as you learn your role as am Auto Mechanic/Diesel Tech.
Auto Mechanic Diesel Tech duties include:
- Monitoring and maintaining the operation of all plant systems & equipment.
- Respond to all system failures by taking appropriate corrective action.
- Perform preventative maintenance inspections.
- Maintain daily equipment inspections backlog.
Auto Mechanic Diesel Tech Requirements:
- Ability to engage in physical activity that includes pushing, pulling, bending, and lifting heavy objects.
- Ability to stand or work on concrete floors for the majority of day.
- Ability to work from ladders or raised platforms.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to pass assessment.
- Experience with programmable logic controller (PLC) systems is preferred.
- A high school diploma or GED
- Experience on heavy duty air systems, brakes, electrical systems.
- Must have own tools.
Schedule: Monday-Friday or Tuesday-Saturday, 12:30pm – 9:30pm.
Regular overtime may be required, depending on business needs
Pay: $26.50+/hr., DOE
