Diesel Mechanic

Do you have 1-2 years of experience as a Diesel Mechanic, are familiar with Paccar engines or Allison/Mac transmissions and enjoy working outdoors? If so, this opportunity could be perfect for you!

A Fortune 500 company renowned for manufacturing premium trucks, trailers, buses, and engines is seeking a skilled Diesel Mechanic to join their Night Shift team.

You’ll work outdoors, ensure trucks are fully operational and up to standard and perform shop management tasks, like scheduling and inventory control. And don’t worry—on days when the weather keeps you from working outside, you’ll still get paid for a full day’s work.

This is a full-time, direct-hire job that offers excellent benefits and monthly safety bonuses ranging from $400 to $700.

Diesel Mechanic Job Duties:

• Diagnosing and troubleshooting equipment failures.
• Provide repair and maintenance to diesel and gasoline engines.
• Adjust and repair ignition, fuel, electrical, hydraulic and steering systems.
• Maintain and repair chassis, frames, and bodies.
• Work with hoisting and jacking equipment, power tools, measuring instruments, gauges and meters.

Schedule: 6a-6p

Pay: $27.00 – $38.00 per hour  

• Occasionally, inclement weather may prevent outdoor work, but you will still be paid for those days!?

Diesel Mechanic Job Requirements:

• At least 1 year of recent diesel mechanic experience working on Paccar engines or Allison/Mac transmissions.
• Comfortable navigating a computer
• Comfortable working outdoors
• Able to stoop, crawl, and bend at the knees and waist throughout shift
