Work arrangements will be discussed with hiring managers per departmental guidelines.One-year assignmentYour roleAs ICI TOU.TV’s Digital Editor, you will write headlines and short copy, adapt general programming content and update the platform in line with corporate standards and policies. You will post and remove content, gather and research promotional material, monitor quality and vet content posted online. You will also be required to use the following content management tools: iNews, CMS, SynPS, Medianet, Scoop and Picto.We are looking for a candidate with the following:Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in film, communications, media technology or a related field
  • Three or more years’ experience performing similar duties in a television, digital media or related environment

Skills:

  • Good general and current-events knowledge
  • Excellent command of French
  • Knowledge of English an asset
  • Proficiency with digital communication tools and techniques
  • Proficient computer skills (Google Docs, Google Sheets or other similar software)
  • High tolerance for stress and ability to work well under pressure during rush periods
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a collaborative and respectful team
  • Ability to manage priorities and adapt to the situation at hand and frequent changes
  • Ability to select relevant content for posting and the best visuals to accompany it
  • Ability to produce photo and video content, including shooting and editing in digital format
  • Ability to determine the lineup of items
  • Writing ability; excellent knowledge of grammar and syntax

Shortlisted candidates will be tested as follows:

  • Written French test
  • Practical test
  • Interview
