Relocation Assistance AvailableThe Senior Principal Digital Signal Processing (DSP) Software Engineer will be part of an innovative team which works to solve complex problems where the solutions provide truly meaningful results. This individual is expected to work effectively in multi-disciplined engineering teams where communication and innovation is key.A bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or equivalent with emphasis in Digital Signal Processing, Communication Theory, Wireless Communications, or equivalent and a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience or a master’s degree and a minimum of 3 years of relevant experienceConceptualize, design and model world class signal processing algorithms for complex integrated HW/SW systems
Performance evaluation of signal processing solutions
Strong understanding of C/C++ software development in Unix/Linux operating systems
Strong understanding of software development tools such as integrated development environments (IDE) as well as version control systems and defect reporting tools
Experience implementing signal processing algorithms in GPUsDepartment of Defense TS/SCI security clearance is preferred at time of hire. Candidates must be able to obtain a TS/SCI clearance within a reasonable amount of time from date of hire.
