Airplay Clubs are for children aged eight to 18, which includes our digital Airplay Connect service and Ben Clubs which provide fun activities for children aged five to seven.This new role in our Central Team will help us to further develop our Airplay Connect service. We’re looking for someone to design and coordinate an engaging digital programme of activities that will compliment our face-to-face youth work, as well as reaching out to dispersed young people who don’t have access to an Airplay Club. We want someone with tech know-how to help us develop our Airplay Connect website as a hub of information for young people, parents and carers, as well as being the key access point for our digital activities.Hours and pay: 15 hours per week. At least 5 of these will be used for direct delivery (online) and up to 10 hours for coordination.The salary is £11,939.20 annually (£15.31 p/h). Working times will include some evenings and possibly some weekend work. Flexibility is essential for this role. Any timings of hours would be agreed in partnership with your line manager.Reporting to the Airplay Programme Manager, the Airplay Digital Youth Work Lead will coordinate and support the delivery of a range of online youth work activities with young people aged 5-18 years, in line with the Airplay Theory of Change and YMCA Youth Work Strategy and Principles. We are over half-way through an exciting strategy called Mission 25. The aim of Mission 25 is to give every staff member and volunteer the opportunity to play their part in shaping the strategy to do “more and better, together” so that we double our impact by 2025. We deliver a vast array of services across Herts, Beds and Bucks that reach over 135,000 individuals annually.These include:

• Provision of over 700 units of accommodation for homeless people
• Move on accommodation for individuals moving onto independent living
• Housing and practical/emotional support for young asylum seekers
• Community HUBs hosting a range of activities and meeting space hire
• Childcare provision in Hertfordshire
• Family support through a network of children’s and family centres covering Hertfordshire and Bedford
• Therapeutic and non-therapeutic support for male and female victims of domestic abuse and their children
• Independent sexual violence services across Bedfordshire, Luton and Hertfordshire
• Domestic abuse perpetrator reform programmes across Bedfordshire
• Youth services offering emotional wellbeing support and youth club opportunities for 11-19 year olds alongside our National Airplay programme funded by the RAF Benevolent Fund
• A community gym where everyone can enjoy the benefits of physical exercise
