We honour the dignity and uniqueness of each person through our core values of Care, Connection and Excellence.What we are hiring for:We are currently hiring a Regular Full-time Direct Support Professional for our Supported Independent Living location in Petrolia and Sarnia, Ontario. Direct Support Professionals make a difference in peoples’ lives by:

• Providing support to people with developmental disabilities in their homes and the community
• Teaching and assisting with daily supports (ex. assistance with meal preparation, personal hygiene, medication administration, appointments, housekeeping responsibilities and money management)
• Facilitating opportunities for individual skill development, independence, personal growth, cultivating relationships in their community and leisure activities as directed by the person

We provide supports in: Alvinston, Brigden, Corunna, Forest, Petrolia, Sarnia, Oil City, Oil Springs, Watford and Wyoming.What you will need:Valid “G or G2” class license and reliable vehicleBe willing to provide a clear Vulnerable Sector Police CheckBe legally entitled to work in CanadaCurrent certification in First Aid/CPR requiredCurrent certification in NVCPI or willing to obtainExperience working with people with developmental disabilities is an assetBe comfortable with providing personal care and attending to medical needs of individualsCompensation and scheduling:

• $23.33 – 24.02 per hour based on experience
• Regular Full-time – 40 hours per week including days, afternoons, weekends or nights
