Director, HubsFull-Time, Permanent (Benefitted)London, Ontario– Application Deadline: February 5, 2025 –The Director of Hubs, will oversee the coordination and administration of the London Hub and be involved in the direction of any future hubs that the organization puts forward. The Director is responsible for orchestrating the strategic direction and operational execution of comprehensive services at the hub. This role requires a proactive leader who can unite various health and community partners to provide service under a cohesive strategy, ensuring that the hub efficiently addresses the complex needs of clients. The Director of Hubs, will champion innovation, foster significant community partnerships, and drive the hub towards achieving exceptional outcomes in health recovery and social integration with the support of internal and external leadership teams.Consider revitalizing your career and making a difference in your community by joining our team!WHAT WE’RE OFFERING:

  • What you’ll be making – $52.28-$57.45 per hour
  • When you’ll work – 70 hours over two-week period; Monday-Friday 8:30am-4:30pm

HOW YOU WILL BE MAKING A DIFFERENCE:Development of Operations:

  • Align Hub operations with regional health and homelessness strategies to enhance service access
  • Work with leaders at community partner organizations to launch Hub initiatives and ensure effective management of the Hub’s multitude of supports, services, and pathways within the identified catchment area
  • Lead the implementation of Hub service proposals as submitted to funders and adapt plans as necessary while ensuring alignment to the funding agreement
  • Oversee the integration of services to provide seamless care transitions across different health and community services, enhancing coordination between hospitals, primary care providers, and community service providers
  • Develop and ensure service standards, using evidence-informed practice
  • Champion innovative practices in addiction recovery, mental health support, supportive housing, and community reintegration
  • Direct the Hub’s response to the health and housing needs for individuals with complex mental health and addictions issues, ensuring access to wellness options and opportunities for recovery

Strategic Leadership and Community Partnerships:

  • Develop and maintain strategic partnerships with community organizations and government entities to expand resources and support for Hub services
  • Collaborate with other departmental leaders to ensure the maintenance of high visibility in local communities (representation at local tables, where appropriate)
  • Advocate for policy changes and funding that support the expansion and sustainability of Hub services
  • Support the VP, Supportive Housing and Program Development in communicating change for the Hubs
  • Work collaboratively with the Senior Leadership Team (SLT) and the Extended Leadership Team (XLT) to develop new initiatives to support the strategic direction of the organization and initiatives that contribute to risk management
  • When required, represent the SLT at Board of Directors meetings and provides input on agency objectives
  • Conduct regular Hub meetings with all partners to communicate relevant agency information, obtain staff input and feedback, plan and evaluate program services

Data-Driven Oversight and Program Evaluation:

  • Utilize data to inform continuous improvement of services, ensuring alignment with the standards of the Mental Health and Addictions Centre of Excellence
  • Work collaboratively with the VP, Supportive Housing and Program Development and leaders from external partnering organizations to develop Hub program outcome indicators and utilize metrics to assess and drive performance, ensuring objectives are met
  • Devise evaluation strategies in collaboration with Director of System Performance to monitor performance of the Hub and determine the need for improvements
  • Use data collection tools to capture the program’s performance and results, including data reporting, baseline and assessment, analysis and monitoring for process and outcome evaluations

Quality Assurance:

  • Ensures that Hub activities comply with all relevant legislation, accreditation, and professional standards
  • Establish processes to ensure the quality of the day-to-day delivery of the Hub services; evaluate the Hub’s activities and effectiveness to maintain or improve quality
  • Ensure the delivery of services operate within the policies and procedures of the organization
  • Identify and assess current environmental trends and best practices; utilize this information to develop new initiatives or implement changes within Hubs
  • Ensure principles of evidence-based practices such as Psychosocial Rehabilitation (PSR), trauma and violence-informed, etc. are followed in services delivered
  • Prepare monthly reports to the VP, Supportive Housing and Program Development and other reports as required and ensure all required documentation and statistics are maintained
  • Design and implement monitoring and evaluation strategies that generate metrics and learnings to analyze and assess progress and identify best practices in furthering the strategic evaluation direction

Human Resources Leadership:

  • Determine staffing requirements for effective program delivery within the Hubs
  • With leadership tables, establish a positive, healthy, and safe work environment in accordance with all appropriate legislation and regulations
  • Consciously create a

  • Work closely with the People Services department and Manager(s) to evaluate performance, set appropriate performance standards that align with appropriate key performance indicators to track team member and program performance
  • Support, mentor and coach future leaders and Manager(s) to successfully fulfil their roles

Financials:

  • With the support of the VP Supportive Housing and Program Development and the Corporate Services Leadership team, develop and oversee Hub Program budgets, ensuring that staffing costs, maintenance expenses, and larger capital costs are managed
  • In collaboration with the VP, Supportive Housing and Program Development, secure additional financial or community resources to ensure the long-term viability of Hub services
  • Reports budget variance and resource requirements in a timely fashion

WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO APPLY:Criminal Record Check RequirementsSuccessful candidates must have a Criminal Record Check completed in the last six months. Interested applicants who reside in the City of London and are in need of a Criminal Record Check (CRC) are encouraged to apply for one as soon as possible as CRC’s in the City of London are currently taking approximately 2 weeks to be processed and offers of employment cannot be made without receipt of a CRC.We require the following qualifications:

  • University degree or college diploma in relevant field of study (required) (Primary proof of credentials will be required during the hiring process, i.e. an original degree/diploma/certificate or official transcript; for ongoing education, an unofficial transcript will be accepted)
  • Minimum of five years’ experience in a leadership / supervisory / management capacity
  • Valid drivers licence and access to a reliable vehicle to carry out job duties
  • Clear, current Criminal Record Check (CRC)
  • Demonstrated ability to attend work regularly
  • Demonstrated ability to establish a high level of rapport with senior leaders in various levels of government, social housing partners and other relevant stakeholders and funding partners
  • Knowledge and understanding of philosophies, practices, models and frameworks associated with Ontario’s London Hub plan

We prefer the following qualifications:

  • Masters Degree in a relevant field of study
  • Experience in developing and overseeing mental health and addictions programs within the non-profit sector
  • Experience with, and detailed knowledge of, mental health and addictions work
  • Experience with navigating funding agreements
  • Experience working as part of a multi-disciplinary team
  • Experience with budgets and managing program finances
