Have a global impact on the world of payments.As part of the Enterprise Delivery group, this role will work alongside Finance and Technology and lead Finance Project delivery at Paysafe. This role will work very closely with the VP Europe Controllership and Transformation and the Head of Finance Systems to ensure that project objectives meet business goals. Paysafe is undertaking a significant Finance Transformation agenda with the implementation of Oracle Fusion as well as a change in EPM tooling.What Paysafe stands for:

The office is located in Gresham Street next to St Paul’s cathedral with easy access and transport links via St Paul’s, Bank, Cannon Street, City Thameslink, Liverpool Street, Farringdon, Mansion House.The impact you will have:

  • [The Director Enterprise Delivery – Finance is accountable for:
  • Team Management – lead the team of Finance Project Managers.
  • Stakeholder Management – pro-actively engage Finance and Tech leadership to avoid miscommunication and uncertainty around deliverables.
  • Project Establishment – Working with stakeholders and Project Managers to define and build the Project charters and own the annual Finance CAPEX planning process.
  • Planning – Develop a comprehensive project management plan that stakeholders, teams, and sponsors can follow throughout each phase of the project/portfolios.
  • Execution – Guide and manage the project(s) in every aspect, including overseeing technology, processes, and change management.
  • Monitoring and Controlling – Manage, track and monitor all project activities, control quality standards, and communication to stakeholders.
  • Key Responsibilities of the role:
  • Management of Finance Project managers – providing an experienced guiding hand.
  • Strong stakeholder management is critical – be the link between Finance and Tech.
  • Hold parties to account when corrective action is needed to keep projects on track.
  • Bring your Finance experience to the table by engaging with Finance on solutions and ideas – be part of the decision-making process.
  • Ensure Project Charters are completed in a timely fashion and to high standards.
  • Take ownership of the monthly Project Governance Board (PGB) and Steer Cos.
  • Work with the PMO team to ensure Finance portfolio project artefacts are kept up to date and compliant with SOX controls.
  • Estimate project costs with the help of Finance Technology and present business cases to appropriate governance committees for approval.
  • Be the escalation / resolution point for the Finance project portfolio.
  • Manage change management ensuring new requirements are properly communicated, implemented and validated by the necessary parties.
  • Control project costs, with focus on CAPEX and OPEX splits.
  • Oversee the closing of the project and benefit realisation.

What we’re looking for:The applicant must have the following:

  • Minimum of 10 years in a Financial Services environment. Payments Industry experience is not essential but would be an advantage.
  • Ideally be a Finance professional who has moved into Delivery and Transformation – this role will suit someone who has a deep understanding of Finance processes and controls.
  • Has experience of managing teams in complex working environments with a minimum of 5 years in a Delivery capacity.
  • Confident and can hold people to account when necessary – this role will require someone with gravitas and the ability to lead conversations.
  • ERP implementation experience is an advantage – Oracle Fusion preferred.
  • Experience with Agile and Waterfall project delivery methodology
