Position: Director of Operations (Private Hospital)
Location: Swindon
Pay: up to £65,000 plus benefits and paid enhancements
Hours: Full time / Part time – Flexible working pattern
Contract: PermanentMeditalent are hiring for an experienced Director of Operations to work for our esteemed client – a leading provider of private healthcare based in Swindon. We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled individual to join the team as a Hospital Operations Director. In this key leadership role, you will oversee the efficient functioning of our hospital’s operational processes, ensuring the highest standards of patient care, overall organisational effectiveness and financial management.Your duties will involve developing + implementing strategic plans to optimise hospital operations, aligning them with the organisation’s goals and objectives. Leading/supervising various departments and collaborating with department heads to establish performance goals and monitor progress. You will continuously work to streamline operational workflows to ensure a smooth running of the hospital and analyse data and key performance indicators to identify areas for improvement. You will implement strategies to enhance efficiency and cost-effectiveness and to manage the hospital budget, monitor expenses, and identify opportunities for cost reduction without compromising patient care.The right candidate:

• Educated to degree level or postgraduate leadership and management qualifications
• Must have experience with operations in a clinical and hospital setting
• Financial skills to be able to read and interpret financial data
• Experience in analysis/auditing, reporting and proposal development for capital assets and infrastructure investment
• Experience in commercial contract management including property, funders of healthcare, NHS standard contracts
