About the role

Are you a wizard at content creation? Creative Suite Pro? Does the prospect of making tutorials for one of the top growing beauty brands in the world excite you?

Charlotte Tilbury beauty is on the hunt for a DOP-editor to join it’s creative, dynamic, and fast-paced Global division here in London. The person needs to be highly confident and want to thrive in a collaborative environment, whilst being able to produce work to a very high standard independently. Most importantly, we are looking for a candidate that is just as passionate about our brand and beauty as we are.

As a Director of Photography & Editor you will

• Capture images and videos for social and digital channels on a daily basis
• Work with Producer & Concept/ Scriptwriter to develop creative for tutorial content
• Research new ways to develop and improve capture
• Direct / lead on shoots when necessary
• Ensure set/ backgrounds are suitable for capture
• The point person on all lighting and capture for tutorial shoots
• Responsible for all lighting and camera lists ahead of shoots
• Edit and grade beauty tutorials directly, as well as work with other editor in team to develop consistent visual styles
• Work quickly & to schedules and deadlines across multiple projects for pre-production, shoots and post production
• Work with Pro Artist team to ensure we capture highest quality footage in line with brand protocols

Who you will work with

About you

• Highly skilled in photography and videography with an acute eye for beauty
• Must have strong experience working on-set, in photo/video-shoot environments with both small & large crews (camera/video teams, MUAs, Hair stylists, stylists, art directors, production)
• Confident working with industry standard lighting and camera equipment
• Able to design lighting set-ups for various shoot scenarios
• Confident shooting talent- including VIPs
• Highly proficient in Adobe Creative Suite – especially Premier pro, Photoshop and Lightroom.
• Have experience in editing and grading short videos and images ideally in beauty and fashion
• Self-starter and self-motivator person who isn’t afraid to carve out new responsibilities for themselves
• Be able to travel and be flexible
• Be able to adapt in agile and a constantly changing environment
• Ability to juggle multiple deadlines, commercial priorities and be proactive to changing actions
• Great attention to detail and highly organised
• Obsessed with social beauty trends
