Director & Regional GM, RCP, EMEA in United Kingdom

UL Solutions Retail and Consumer Products business is seeking a General Manager of our European, Middle East, and Africa (EMEA) business, reporting to the VP & GM of Retail & Consumer Products. The role will have P&L responsibility for operations, sales, customer services, and product management teams in EMEA. The primary objectives of the role will be to:

• Clarify strategy and commercial focus

• Drive the expansion of global point of influence revenue

• Develop a regional footprint strategy and driving improvements in lab efficiency, margin, customer service, and turnaround time in line with our customers requirements.

• Integration: Integrating systems, processes, organization,

• People Development: Providing guidance, career development, and skills development support

• Strategy development includes as assessment of customer needs, competitive and regulatory environment, develops financial projections and implementation plans.

• Anticipates customer needs by creating strong partnerships. Provides solutions for new opportunities to secure revenue, margin, market share and customer satisfaction.

• Directly lead operations and customer services teams in with full P&L responsibility, as well as Sales teams across EMEA. Responsible for managing costs, reporting, and forecasting, workflow overviews and providing input into growth targets.

• Collaborate closely with RCP/UL Solutions stakeholders to integrate EMEA organization into Retail & Consumer Products, and UL Solutions ways of working

• Holds team and self-accountable for results, establishes performance objectives and metrics to execute strategy. Provides training, counseling, and guidance to drive performance and morale.

• University degree in Business Administration, Management, Engineering or related field.

• 10 -15 years related experience, including at least five years of relevant management/leadership experience.

• Direct experience in consumer products operations and commercial leadership.

• Lead / participate in cross-functional or global projects or worked in multiple functions or regions.

• Manage employee performance through performance expectations and goals, identifying and addressing training needs, plan and execute required staffing levels and assisting in operational planning.

• Present information in a concise, relevant and powerful manner.

• Interpret a wide variety of materials including analyses, data, financial reports and/or legal documents.

• Listen, learn and teach.

• Work in and understand diverse cultural environments
