Description and RequirementsWork Location: Onsite- 5 days a weekPosition Type: PermanentLocation: Edmonton, AlbertaCompensation Range: $60,000- $68,000Our client in electrical distribution is looking to hire a Documentation Control Specialist for their Edmonton office.Responsibilities:

  • Receives, logs, tracks, files, and monitors paper and electronic customer and vendor supplied documentation, and other technical correspondence
  • Responsible for setting up document control records, archiving project information, and preparing project data books
  • Responds to document requests and submissions
  • Generates and distributes reports as required by project
  • Handles file documents by electronically scanning documents, and maintaining data files
  • Uploads documentations to SharePoint site/Customer Portals
  • Sets up and assembles project data books
  • Ensures all documentation is consistent and adheres to internal standards
  • Archives all Project Documentation and Project Close-out
  • Liaising with Sales Representative, Project Specialist, and Management
  • Other duties as required.

Qualifications:

  • Post secondary diploma (business administration etc.)
  • Problem Solver, information gatherer, very detail oriented
  • Experience in data entry, administrative and/or document control
  • Intermediate MS Office
  • Self-motivated with the ability to take initiative and prioritize tasks
  • Ability to meet project timelines and perform in a high pressure and team-based environment
